In 1927, Daviess County survived Prohibition by selling it as bonded medical whiskey. A proprietary blend of wheat and rye mash bill is used for sweetness and spice. Bottled at 96 proof and finished in a Cabernet Sauvignon barrel for depth. A combination of two bourbon mashbills - a wheated and a ryed - and finished for six months in cabernet barrels for an unforgettable layer of complexity.
