Description
Winner of a Bronze Medal at the 2005 International Wine and Spirits Competition, this 12-year old from the BenRiach distillery bettered itself the following year, taking home a Silver.
Nose: Floral, grassy, heather honey. Vanilla sweetness. Hint of fresh peat.
Palate: Silken delivery offers white peach and spicy toffee apple. Floral, honey.
Finish: Refined, little spice. Melted chocolate.
To make BenRiach The Twelve, BenRiach spirit is three cask matured for at least twelve years in sherry casks, bourbon barrels and port casks. The whisky from each cask is then expertly married together to create a smooth, sherry-rich single malt.
