BUTTERFLY CANNON TEQUILA REPOSADO – The “WINGED KING” SOFT, SWEET, AND SMOOTH 100% AGAVE TEQUILA, aged for 8 months and packaged in an heirloom quality decanter bottle made from solid ceramic with a heavyweight, all-metal statuette stopper.
Color: Light amber, golden hue.
Nose: Light and mellow oak with citrus undertones. Natural agave.
Flavor: Natural agave, warm vanilla, tree nuts, spiced cloves, ground cinnamon, caramel, oak.
THE PROCESS:
Butterfly Cannon Reposado Tequila is an ultra premium aged tequila made from the finest blue agave in Jalisco, Mexico. The metamorphosis of Butterfly Cannon Reposado begins when 7–8 year-old agave is harvested by hand. Then slow cooked in traditional steam ovens to a point that is ideal for mashing while retaining the natural agave flavor. After cooking for a minimum of 3 days, the piñas are left for an additional 2-3 days to cool before being mashed and distilled. The tequila is rested in American oak casks for a minimum of 8 months. Once the aging process is complete, a beautiful rich amber liquid is hatched from the barrels and decanted into a heavyweight solid ceramic bottle.
