Aged for at least 6 years in charred oak barrels, The Senator 6 Year Old Straight Rye Whiskey is full-bodied, boasting a higher than average ABV thanks to being barrel proof. Spicy, with some nice aromatic complexities that open off towards sweeter cinnamon notes. Starting off sweet, this whiskey brings that traditional rye spice with a long finish.
