A very well balanced whisky that is richer, rounder and sweeter than younger expressions, and also has an attractive spicy finish. Medium to full bodied and soft with a smooth, light toasty oak, and well balanced finish. 2020 SIP Awards Silver Medal winner.
Nose: Waxy orange and lemon zest, with slowly developing notes of mocha.
Palate: Caramelized fruit, floral barley, vanilla pod and spicy cedar.
Finish: Slightly earthy malt notes, with continuing vanilla sweetness.
15 year old single malt from the Glendullan distillery, originally release for the Travel Retail market. This has been bottled under the name of The Singleton of Glendullan, a series of bottlings more commonly seen in America, while those of us in Europe are more accustomed to seeing The Signleton of Dufftown.
