Usquaebach 15 Yr Blended Malt Scotch Whisky is a marriage of some of the finest Highland single malts, aged for a minimum of 15 years – and some as old as 20. If single malts are your preference, this blend will impress you with its complexity & depth.
Nose: Malted Barley. Rich Earth. Grilled Pineapple. Toffee.
Palate: Baking Spices. Apple Tart. Vanilla Bean.
Finish: Bold. Reminiscent of leather & wood with sweet notes of cherry cobbler.
A blend of selected Highland malts from the proprietor's “own special reserve,” this is a complex, lovely sipper to savor. The rich bouquet offers dried apricot, sherry, vanilla and baked apple. The robust, rounded palate is relatively dry, resonating with almost Bourbon-like leather, tobacco, tea and oak, finishing in long, mouthwatering notes of orange peel and spice, and just a hint of peat.
